Execution Role play Forum   Your favorite?

What is your favorite form of execution?

With me it is short drop hanging. Only recently have we actually started using a trap door gallows, (suspended by the shoulders, not the neck) but we have not found a way to keep it from bruising. Any ideas would be helpful.

Have you tried to protect the neck with something very smooth? What kind of ropes do you use?

Always, otherwise you can really hurt yourself. We use a soft cervical collar....the type that velcro's into place. We have a thick hemp noose hanging from a beam, and I am teased with that one, but when I am actually hung we use a very thick nylon rope, and never with a noose that actually tightens all the way to my neck. it is more of a loop knot which I could escape from if I throw my head back hard.

Strange you have bruise. Usually with a nylon Rope and a short around my neck, i had resolve the problem

I guess some people bruise easier then others. We have not experimented without the use of the collar due to our jobs, I can not be "marked" at all in visible area, so we don't take the chance. One thing I have had happen once (with my ex husband) and this was by hand strangling with a thin cord of some type ( I don't really remember exactly what was used) I had a super amount of pressure in my head, and I blew out some blood vessels in my eye, and turned a large area of what what supposed to be the white part of my eye blood red. I also bled from my nose. Thankfully that has only occurred that one time. I have no idea what we did wrong that night, but I never want it to happen again. I had to come up with a lie for what happened to my eye.
