I've always found the hood to be a huge turn-on.
For the person on the receiving end, it adds mystery and aprehension.
The adrenaline rush from not seeing what's going on, but feeling it, especially as the noose is jerked tight.
For some reason it's so amazing to see someone step on the platform,
hands tied behind them, then they have their ankles tied together once in position,
the black hood before the noose comes on really does it for me before the noose comes on.
I always fantasize of being in their shoes, feeling the cloth over my head, the noose being tightened around my neck,
and standing there helpless in darkness waiting for the trap door to fall away.
