Hi there, new user here but I joined to ask for any tips or tricks when trying to play with flies, particularly I was thinking of trying a tunnel plug and seeing if they would crawl around inside me. Would I need to do a enema after my session to prevent maggots growing? Glad to be here :)

The risk with an enema is that you'll flush them further inside instead of getting them out.

The question you should ask yourself is: "Do I really want them inside and why?"
Because you might feel them at your anus, but there is hardly to no feeling inside. So the only reason I can think of is the exciting idea of having them inside, but that contradicts the fear of something staying behind.
Also think about which species are kind of safe to use, and which are possibly invasive or parasitic. Of course limited to species that are available to you in your area.

If you decide to go ahead and want to feel them on you sphincter, it's probably better not to use a tunnel plug but a spreader instead so you can feel them walking around, going in and out.

Simple answer : they DO crawl inside and up to a certain degree you feel them, too.

I think a speculum is more flexible. Use one with small blades or one with metal rods only. These provide more exposed skin.
