A special message to those who are ruining this excellent group by dumping off topic images (too small, not landscape format):

Not every Big Picture is good for this Group!
Remember, a Wallpaper should used as Background. This means High definition
and mostly professional.
Your pictures are only big and i guess, nobody in this Group used your Pics as Wallpaper.
So please post qualitativ better Pictures!

I congratulate you on your psychic ability. Imagine knowing the tastes of all 873 members of the group! I am awestruck!

Definition is, however, a matter of taste. It depends a lot on the subject matter and as a background image is, basically, background, it should not distract too much from the work being done on the computer. At times lower definition can add to the effect of the image - note, for example, http://motherless.com/g/the_wallpaper_group/38F653B - a very low-res image in which the very lack of resolution adds to the nightmare feeling of the image. It is one that I have long used as a background myself.

Looking at the few images you have originally posted yourself, it is interesting to note the number of hits you have had ever since the middle of last year, compared with the number I have in the first week since posting, but my first post here is not about critiques of individual members but about the dumping of large numbers of images that clearly do not follow the group aims or instructions - small images, some of them gifs, images in portrate format, even videos! I would have thought that you would agree on that.
