For all you people who think posting that "you do not have permission" bullshit in your profile's bio section:

You obviously have never bothered to read the ToS of this website, and are actually making yourself look dumb, due to the fact that the ToS explicitly states....

"By posting Content on this website, you automatically grant, and represent and warrant that you have the right to grant, to MI and visitors of MI, an irrevocable, perpetual, non-exclusive, fully-paid, worldwide license to use, copy, perform, display and distribute such information, rights of publicity and Content and to prepare derivative works of, or incorporate into other works and other media, such information and Content, and to grant and authorize sublicenses of the foregoing."

For those of you who don't understand that wall of mind bending fuckery, I'll summarise: By using this website for anything, including the shit you type, anyone around the world has the a-okay to use said content however they please (although I'm not entirely certain about reselling it). You post a picture on here, and no amount of bullshit, poorly scratched out, fake legalese is going to prevent anyone from reusing it for any reason. The only reason they may not use it is out of personal respect, or you're just not that interesting. Quite honestly, I'm thinking of making a publicly funded study of this annoying trend, which is likely clogging up the arteries of countless servers around the globe, thanks to poorly educated people.

Learn to read the fine print, and maybe next time you see yourself in unauthorised use, you'll actually understand why it happened- YOU FUCKING GAVE CONSENT DUE TO IGNORANCE. Remove that annoying shit from your profile, because it means nothing; and frankly, the people who run the servers will probably thank you... not to mention, your dignity will suddenly lose a dent, and your reading skills might get a workout from actually reading the ToS of websites before you use them.

I take pride in learning how to spell the language I speak... the way it's done properly. US English is a bastardised language to begin with, and it's only in existence because some dipshit wanted to be a rebel...

Except,I highly doubt that after living in the states for years, you speak the Queens English. Too much of speech is learned through habit, so you are already likely speaking American English already. Or the "bastardized" version as you put it. So, if you are speaking that way, you may as well spell that way.

It's English and American English not "British" English, not everyone in Britain speaks English and I'd like to see you understand what a Liverpudlian says. Never the less all languages are bastardised versions of older languages, the difference with English and American English is that English still exists and is still widely used, unlike Latin which most languages are based on and all but died off hundreds of years ago.

English itself is "bastardized," as you put it, from multiple languages, including Latin, Greek and predecessors to modern French, German, Dutch and Scandinavian languages.

Like other languages, English is organic and ever-evolving, with words, phrases and usage standards coming into and falling out of favor regularly. Pretend all you want that randomly using British spelling for words you speak in American English somehow elevates your intellect or sophistication, but you're not fooling anyone - even on this sludge pond of a website. It only makes you look phony and insecure, which you almost certainly are anyway.

I completely agree with you here, though there is one other time. I had posted pictures on here a while ago, and an ex of mine got a hold of the pictures and posted them on his profile on here with my real name on them. As such, the mods deleted them. There are extenuating circumstances and such. But, again, you are right!

Actually, YOU got it wrong! By stating your legal rights on your profile, it supersedes the Terms and Conditions which apply in every other instance. Any content in which you appear and own belongs to you and you don't give up those rights unless you expressly state, I waive my right to claim ownership and all other rights. If you are in the USA, you maintain all your legal rights regardless of what the site states in the Terms. All copyright protections apply and any likeness of you can be removed. Peace out

It's called, The US Constitution and, the owner of any image or video retains all rights on the use of his image including any animated reproduction or caricature. The process of including the notice in profiles began on fetlife.com and has been upheld by the courts. A porn website can state anything it wants except when it is a violation of a persons fundemental rights. And, your arrogant and insulting attitude is not appreciated mate!

Except that one can argue that, let's say law enforcement(Which is who most people think they are protecting themselves from), isn't violating copyright law by using images they post publicly here to identify them. They are just gathering evidence, that is in plain sight. You should also bare in my mind that not all websites keep their server in uS. Meaning the US Constitution and US copyright laws mean absolutely nothing on those sites.

You do know that what they put on this website is a copy/paste thing they do on the internet right? It's legally called a contract of adhesion. In other words to use the site you have to agree to it. For the record courts have ruled in about 98 percent of cases that contracts of adhesion are not legally binding when they are actually challenged in the legal system. In other words, neither statement holds up. Have a good one.
