You didn't get mad when the Supreme Court stopped a legal recount and appointed a p********.
How was it legal?
Because it was ordered by the Supreme Court of the State of Florida and was allowed within the time limits of election law.

You didn't get mad when Cheney allowed Energy company officials to dictate
energy policy.
Who would you prefer?
People who do not have a financial conflict of interest dictating policies.

You didn't get mad when a covert CIA operative got outed.
Covert? And who outed her again?
Valerie Plame was a CIA operative working under NOC and her identity as such was hidden. She was outed by journalist Robert Novak after he received information from within the Bush Administration, supposedly as retribution for her husband's criticism of the administration.

You didn't get mad when the Patriot Act got passed.
You remember when Obama got rid of it? Me neither.
Hey! Look at that strawman!

You didn't get mad when we illegally invaded a country that posed no threat to us.
Which country was that?
Iraq

You didn't get mad when we spent over 600 billion(and counting) on said illegal war.
Again which country and why was it illegal? Considering Obama borrows that much in 6 months, I'd say it was a bargain.
Iraq. It was illegal because they posed no threat to us. Bargain? What did it get us exactly?

You didn't get mad when over 10 billion dollars just disappeared in Iraq.
Wow! Was Jon Corzine in Iraq?
Oh, look! Another strawman. Yeah, Corzine is an asshole. What's your point? Pointing out other bad behavior doesn't excuse bad behavior.

You didn't get mad when you found out we were torturing people.
Who did we torture and how? Members od our own military go through waterboarding during training, so you can't mean that, can you?
We tortured the people being held at Gitmo and we tortured them via waterboarding. Just because we train our military to resist waterboarding, and to handle it doesn't mean it's not torture. On the contrary, we train them because it IS torture. If waterboarding was no big deal, they wouldn't need training to know how to deal with it.

You didn't get mad when the government was illegally wiretapping Americans.
You mean the ones in contact with known terrorists?
No, we mean the innocent ones who had their privacy invaded.

You didn't get mad when we didn't catch Bin Laden.
We didn't?
Bush didn't/

You didn't get mad when you saw the horrible conditions at Walter Reed.
Again, we didn't?
No. Yuo didn't.

You didn't get mad when we let a major US city, New Orleans, drown.
We did get mad at this. We got mad at the local politicans who were supposed to evacuate the helpless and maintain the levy system. But since they were Democrats, you decided to blame Bush instead. So are you now blaming Obama for Sandy? Didn't think so.
We're not blaming Obama for Sandy, because as Governor Christie said, Obama is doing an excellent job. Since FEMA and the Federal government is actually being proactive and helping people, there's nothing to "blame." And NY and NJ, two very blue states seem to be handling the crisis well, whereas Louisiana, a red state, did a shit job, under a Republican p********.

You didn't get mad when we gave a 900 billion tax break to the rich.
Why would we? Why is it "fair" for any U.S. citizen to pay a higher percentage of their income than the rest of U.S. citizens?
Because those citizens have benefited greater from the system than the rest of us. Part of the social contract is that the rich give back more because they get more. Also, thanks in part to the Bush tax cuts, quite a few of those people have a lower effective tax rate than the rest of us.

You didn't get mad when the deficit hit the trillion dollar mark.
That happened under Obama, and yes we did get mad.
The deficit hit the trillion dollar mark in FY 2009, which begins in Sept 2008, even before the election, and the spending for which was allocated by the Bush Administration.

You finally got mad when the government decided that people in America deserved the right to see a doctor if they are sick.
No person was denied this. What they were denied was the right to skip out in the bill.
Every single other first world country on this planet has universal and preventative healthcare, and it's about time we stopped worrying about our paychecks and started worrying about the well being of our fellow citizens.

Yes, illegal wars, lies, corruption, torture, stealing your tax dollars to make the rich richer, are all okay with you, but helping other Americans...well fuck that. That about right? You know it is.
I feel sorry for you.

I assume you have been making a list of these same offenses (and many that are worse) during the last four years? No? Didn't think so.
Same offenses? No. Many that are worse? Many? No. I can think of a few, sure, and am not 100% happy with the job Obama is doing, but it sure is a hell of a lot better than the clusterfuck that was the last administration.

Because it was ordered by the Supreme Court of the State of Florida and was allowed within the time limits of election law.

The Florida Supreme Court also ruled that dented and hanging chads could be counted as votes. This was not part of FL law before the election and therefore constituted a change of law ex post facto, that the U.S. Supreme court rightly said was not allowed.

People who do not have a financial conflict of interest dictating policies.

When you find them, let us know.

Valerie Plame was a CIA operative working under NOC and her identity as such was hidden. She was outed by journalist Robert Novak after he received information from within the Bush Administration, supposedly as retribution for her husband's criticism of the administration.

Ridhard Armitage mistakenly gave her name to Novak because he had read it in a memo and never having seen a covered agents name used in a memo before, he assumed (incorrectly) that her job wasn't classified as secret. Since he was not charged, apparently the prosecutor agreed that his mistake was an accident and not malicious retribution.

You didn't get mad when the Patriot Act got passed.
You remember when Obama got rid of it? Me neither.
Hey! Look at that strawman!

Just pointing out the hypocracy that the Democrat protests about the Patriot Act died once they were the ones in control.

You didn't get mad when we illegally invaded a country that posed no threat to us.
Which country was that?
Iraq

Wasn't Iraq guilty of multiple violations of the United Nations surrender agreement from the first Gulf war? Why yes. Yes they were. Therefore the Iraq war was a legal (according to your beloved U.N.) continuation of the Iraq war started in the early 90's.

No threat? According to you? I guess I just dreamed the numerous and constant attacks by the Iraqis of the aircraft enforcing the U.N. mandated "no-fly zone" that the Iraqis agreed to in the surrender terms from he first Gulf war.

Is the 10 billion from the Halliburton contracts? If so it just proves that the bigger government is, the more wasteful it is. I bet if this had been Schlumberger instead of Haliburton, you wouldn't give a rats ass, but the "evil" Haliburton is connected to "Darth" Cheney, so it must be a conspiracy.

You didn't get mad when you found out we were torturing people.

On the contrary, we train them because it IS torture. If waterboarding was no big deal, they wouldn't need training to know how to deal with it.

Waterboarding is not torture because it does NO physical harm, but instead instills an intense fear reaction. The training is to help the troops deal with the fear just as many other training exercises are intended to help them deal with the fear that comes from actual combat.

You didn't get mad when the government was illegally wiretapping Americans.
You mean the ones in contact with known terrorists?
No, we mean the innocent ones who had their privacy invaded.

Who are they? Do they exhist outside of your conspiracy fevered mind?

You didn't get mad when we didn't catch Bin Laden.
We didn't?
Bush didn't/

Nancy Pelosi said during the Bush years that killing Bin Laden wouldn't make the U.S. any safer. Did you get mad at her?

You didn't get mad when you saw the horrible conditions at Walter Reed.

No. Yuo didn't.

Sure, because everybody knows you lefties are the militarys biggest supporters. [sarc/]

You didn't get mad when we let a major US city, New Orleans, drown.

So when a Republican governor (NJ) handles a crisis well it's a blue state, but when a Democrat governor (Louisiana) does not handle a crisis well, it's a red state? If Christie had bitched that Obama wasn't doing enough for the Sandy victims, would you honestly be agreeing with him, or defending Obama? If Bush went to a Vegas fund raiser after his photo op meeting, would you be outraged?

So if you get robbed by someone with less than you, you take it without protest because of the "social contract" (whatever the fuck that is)? And your tax rate talking point is deceitful. The lower rate that is payed by the rich is on investment income. Their money has already been taxed at the highest rate, but to help incentivise investment back into the the economy, return on investment is taxed at the lower rate.

You didn't get mad when the deficit hit the trillion dollar mark.

The deficit hit the trillion dollar mark in FY 2009, which begins in Sept 2008, even before the election, and the spending for which was allocated by the Bush Administration.

The emergency spending measures passed in late 2008 (by the Democrat held congress) such as TARP and the Stimulus did push the deficit past 1 trillion, but much of those funds were actually dispersed by Obama. IIRC Bush only spent about half of the TARP funds to keep the market from collapsing, and Obama (as Pres. elect) requested and was given control of the rest. All the spending is credited to Bush although he didn't actually spend it all. In FY 2009, with the market crisis behind him, Obama managed to spend even more than Bush did in the middle of an emergency, and Obama has raised spending every year since.

Every single other first world country on this planet has universal and preventative healthcare, and it's about time we stopped worrying about our paychecks and started worrying about the well being of our fellow citizens.

And anyone who could afford it came to the U.S. for treatments. Maybe you want to be on a waiting list to see a doctor. Maybe you don't mind waiting months for an operation. Maybe your senior family members have lived too long to be worth the money it would take to prolong their lives. If so, universal healthcare is for you.

Your citation of the case law is wrong. The SCOTUS ruled that the recount was a violation of the equal protection clause because there was no uniform standard for the recount across the state, and FL didn't have the time to institute a uniform standard for a state-wide recount. Had there been time, those rules could have been applied state-wise.

When you find them, let us know.

People who don't own the Energy company or have a financial stake in the energy company are good enough.

Or there wasn't enough evidence to charge him.

Just pointing out the hypocracy that the Democrat protests about the Patriot Act died once they were the ones in control.

No they died when it stopped becoming the issue du jour because people are stupid.

Wasn't Iraq guilty of multiple violations of the United Nations surrender agreement from the first Gulf war? Why yes. Yes they were. Therefore the Iraq war was a legal (according to your beloved U.N.) continuation of the Iraq war started in the early 90's.

Really? Violations like having WMDs?

No threat? According to you? I guess I just dreamed the numerous and constant attacks by the Iraqis of the aircraft enforcing the U.N. mandated "no-fly zone" that the Iraqis agreed to in the surrender terms from he first Gulf war.

Yeah, no threat. You know, how they never attacked us, how they didn't actually have weapons capable of attacking us? How they weren't even pursuing those weapons? Yeah, no threat like that. And who gives a fuck about your beloved U.N.'s no fly zone? We shouldn't have been there in the (first Gulf War) first place.

I give a rat's ass anytime someone in my country's power structure profits off of the wars they cause.

Waterboarding is not torture because it does NO physical harm, but instead instills an intense fear reaction. The training is to help the troops deal with the fear just as many other training exercises are intended to help them deal with the fear that comes from actual combat.

You are a fucking moron. It is 100% possible to die from waterboarding. Just listen to any person who has participated in the training an execution of the technique in our armed forces. Jesse Ventura is a good example.

Who are they? Do they exhist outside of your conspiracy fevered mind?

We'll never get to know because the government doesn't have to tell us! But as someone who clearly thinks big government is wasteful and inefficient, do you mean to tell me this is the one area which they operate with complete precision and accuracy? Yeah right.

Nancy Pelosi said during the Bush years that killing Bin Laden wouldn't make the U.S. any safer. Did you get mad at her?

Thanks for the Strawman! Yes. Nancy Pelosi is a shitty opportunist. But you know who got Bin Laden? Obama, motherfucker.

Sure, because everybody knows you lefties are the militarys biggest supporters. [sarc/]

Haha! Wow! sarcasm. Great. How about you take your whole "democrats don't care about the troops stereotype" and shove it up your ass. Over the last decade the democrats have done more for the troops in terms of proposed legislation (Verteran's Job act - killed by Senate Republicans) - troop funding as well as DRAWING DOWN TROOP LEVELS AND BRINGING THEM HOME - than republicans have, hands down.

No, NJ is a blue state because look how it has voted in the past 20 years of p********ial elections, along with the make up of it's state legislature. Same with Louisiana. If you're going to argue that New Jersey is more conservative a state than Louisiana, you're a fucking retard. Also, if Christie had said "Obama has not responded to any of my requests for aid, and the White House is stalling" any reasonable person would have called Obama out. Just because you blindly follow your parties' leaders and believe everything they say doesn't mean other people do.

Jesus, where to begin. "Get robbed"? Taxes are the cost of a civilized society. If you don't know "whatever the fuck" the social contract is, I suggest you either pick up a book or go live by yourself in the fucking woods and shit in a bucket for the rest of your life. I hope your log cabin doesn't catch on fire and you need to call the fire department, or get somewhere and use a public road. Don't act like a fucking moron. And MY tax point is deceitful? "Their money has already been taxed at the highest rate" - complete lie. The CORPORATION was taxed. The corporation is a different legal entity. The corporation then pays its investors. If you don't want to pay corporate taxes, don't incorporate. It's not hard. Also, this notion that's is "purely investment income" is horseshit. CEOs can get their entire paycheck as a result of "investment income." There are so many fucking bullshit loopholes in the tax code that people who don't have the initial capital to invest with the company their daddy gave them or, alternatively, lose all their money in the market because some asshole decided to make a cool 100k by shorting some stocks needlessly don't have the luxury of this kind of shit. It's corporate welfare, and most of the working class is sick of it.

Raised spending? Oh, wow, look at that, nice way to stay true while obfuscating the point. The deficit has DECREASED under Obama since FY 2009. FY 2012 was less than FY 2011 and FY 2010 and FY 2009. (FY2011 was slightly greater than FY2010, but both were less than FY2009). FY2013 deficit is on track to be less than FY2012. Also "market crisis behind him" The economy didn't start ADDING jobs until Oct 2009 which is - you guessed it! FY 2010.

You are a fucking moron. Go actually talk to a Brit or a Canadian instead of listening to Fox.

Please explain how Obama has done better.

We're out of Iraq. Bin Laden is dead. The economy isn't in free-fall. Universal Insurance coverage. U.S. Auto industry. Those are just a few.

Everyone seems to forget that the Dems blocked counting of US Armed Forces postal votes because they said that the postmarks were smudged and therefore invalid.
