No. Fuck that. Take your chances and fuck her. If he gave a shit they'd have been married well before deployment. Fuck her and when the guy gets back keep fucking her. Her relationship isn't going to work out with him, and if you don't fuck her now, then you'll be the consoling friend instead of the obvious right choice when it ends.
